Greek mythology Hestia

I like Hestia because she is a single and she vows that she will never marry.

You might like her even though she isn’t featured in many myths but she is still very important because she makes people’s houses warm

Hestia was the last one vomited by Cronus and almost was digested that is why she has no real form of her own. I feel so bad for poor Hestia.

Hestia does live on mount olympus but she gave up her throne to Dionysus because she had a bigger job which is keeping the eternal flame going. And she never went off olympus and didn’t show herself to mortals. So that is why she isn’t an olympian and why she isn’t shown in as many myths.

Apollo and Poseidon both wanted to marry Hestia.Why? No one knows why.But she was more intent to stay a single so she asked to Zeus to grant her a wish which was staying a single .Later in the years Athena and Artemis wanted Zeus that same wish too and of course he said yes .

hestia also kept people joyful and warm she also was called many names such as the protector of hospitality the preparation of food and many more.
